Anzhelika Minasova is one of the most promising young sopranos of her generation in Russia. Born in 1989 in Krasnovodsk (Turkmenistan), she is a soloist at the Perm Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet theater and a member of the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers since 2016. Ms. Minasova has worked with the following conductors: Teodor Currentzis, Evgeniy Brazhnik, Timur Zangiev, Alexandr Soloviev, Valeriy Platonov, Andrey Danilov, Artem Abashev, Valentin Uriypin, Michail Sinkevich, Zaurbek Gugkaev, and Renat Salavatov. She has already performed Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, the title role in Madama Buttefly, and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) on the stage of the Mariinsky. Her repertoire also includes Mimi (La Boheme), Marguerite (Faust), title-role Iolanta, Countess Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), title-role Cendrillon, and Tamara (Demon).

In the season 2013/2014, while in her final year of studies, Ms Minasova joined the Perm Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre Opera Company. She made her debut as Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, and then she sang as Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, as Antonia in Les contes d’Hoffmann, as Oksana in Cherevichki, as the High Priestess in Aida, as well as in the title roles in Madama Buttefly and Massenet’s Cendrillon. In the season 2016/2017 she debuted at Mariinsky Concert Hall as Cendrillon in the opera of J. Massenet and then debuted on the Mariinsky New Stage as Tatyana in Eugene Onegin. In 2017 she sang the title tole of the Madama Butterfly on the new stage of Mariinsky. In 2018 she debuted as Octavia (Cleopatre) and Donna Elvira on the old stage of Mariinsky. In May 2019 she will make her debut in Europe as Tatyana at the Opéra de Rouen Normandie.

Ms. Minasova graduated from the Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music, where she studied vocal performance with Natalia Pustovaya. She is the winner of the following international competitions: X International Rimsky-Korsakov Young Opera Singers Competition (2016), V Galina Vishnevskaya International Opera Singers Competition (2014), IV International Boris Shtokolov Vocalists Competition ( 2014). She has perfected her skills at the master classes of Sergio Bertocchi and Fiorenza Cossotto.
