Conductor Eckehard Stier will lead the Kiel Philharmonic Orchestra in an imaginative and dynamic programme dedicated to the music of video games. The concert, part of the “Con Spirito” series, will take place at the Theater Kiel and features soloists Charlotte Thiele (violin) and Mischa Cheung (piano).

Titled Video Games in Concert, the programme explores the evolving relationship between orchestral music and digital culture. From iconic 8-bit melodies to cinematic orchestral scores of contemporary games, the evening highlights how video game soundtracks have become a significant and emotionally resonant part of the musical canon.

Audiences will experience live symphonic performances of music from titles such as The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Halo, Tetris, and more.
