May 28th | Gabriel Prokofiev – “Dark Lights” UK Premiere in London
Following the highly acclaimed Spanish premiere at L’Auditori in Barcelona, Gabriel Prokofiev will present the UK debut performance of his latest album “Dark Lights” on May 28th at IKLECTIK in London.
The concert marks Prokofiev’s return to IKLECTIK after four years and features his distinctive fusion of contemporary classical music and electronic production. Performed live by a 10-piece chamber orchestra together with pianist Mariam Lolzade-Meredith and Gabriel Prokofiev on electronics, Dark Lights explores a cinematic and immersive sound world balancing acoustic textures and electronic landscapes.
Released by nonclassical, the album continues Prokofiev’s exploration of hybrid musical forms, combining rhythmic energy, orchestral writing and electronic experimentation in what he describes as a “classical-electronic soundtrack for modern times.”
