Gabriel Prokofiev’s groundbreaking Techno Suite will be performed at the Royal College of Music in London, blending classical performance with the pulse of electronic music in a dynamic and genre-defying concert.

Originally conceived as a reinterpretation of dancefloor energy for classical instruments, Techno Suite transforms techno beats into a rich acoustic experience, with live electronics performed by Prokofiev himself. The work will be conducted by Leif Tse and Sam Scheer, featuring narration by Lucy Hollins, adding a theatrical dimension to the performance.

Part of the RCM’s From the Soundhouse series, the concert showcases the boundary-pushing spirit of today’s composers, offering students and audiences an immersive encounter with the cutting edge of contemporary music.
