Our soprano Karen Slack has been highlighted in a recent positive review following her performance with the American Composers Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, New York, as part of the programme “Hello, America: Letters to Us, from Us”.

The review particularly praises her interpretation of Brittany J. Green’s “Letters to America” and “Black Like Me”, noting her versatility and expressive range across a variety of styles, from operatic writing to spoken and jazz-influenced elements. Her performance was described as both polished and powerful, receiving strong audience response.
