The Teatro PIME in Milan will host a deeply symbolic performance of J.S. Bach's cello suites, within the framework of the project “Orchestra del Mare”, created by the Fondazione Casa dello Spirito e delle Arti.

This unique initiative combines music, spirituality, and social engagement. The cello used in the performance was crafted from wood recovered from the sea — specifically from migrant boats that arrived on the shores of Lampedusa — and it becomes a powerful symbol of hope, memory, and transformation.

The event will include a spoken introduction by Arnoldo Mosca Mondadori, writer and cultural figure, as well as the founder of the Fondazione Casa dello Spirito e delle Arti. His words will offer a powerful reflection on the spiritual and human message behind the project.
