March 12th | Marcus Bosch conducts Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto with pianist Fazıl Say in Padua

Our conductor Marcus Bosch leads the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto in its 60th Concert Season at the Auditorium Pollini in Padua, presenting a programme that unites Classical elegance and symphonic power alongside internationally renowned pianist Fazıl Say.

The evening opens with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 in C major, K. 467, one of the composer’s most beloved concertos. Known for its lyrical refinement and radiant orchestration, the work will be performed with cadenzas by Fazıl Say, whose interpretative personality brings a distinctive perspective to Mozart’s timeless masterpiece.

The second half is dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67, one of the most iconic works in the symphonic repertoire. From its unmistakable opening motif to its triumphant final movement, the symphony embodies dramatic tension, structural brilliance, and visionary intensity.
