Marcus Bosch

September 3rd – 5th | Marcus Bosch with Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock – “Konzerte im Sommercampus 2025”

The Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock, under the direction of chief conductor Marcus Bosch, once again joins the participants of the Sommercampus at hmt Rostock for a series of concerts presented in collaboration with the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The “Konzerte im Sommercampus 2025” series offers three performances that unite outstanding young talents from the masterclasses with internationally renowned soloists: Julian Bliss (clarinet), Matthias Kirschnereit (piano), Michael Barenboim (violin), and Sebastian Klinger (cello).

The program highlights a rich variety of repertoire, ranging from the dazzling virtuosity of Rossini’s Introduzione, Tema e Variazioni for clarinet and orchestra, to the lyrical power of Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor, op. 16. Works by Mozart and Dvořák further enrich the concerts, including Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4 in D major and Dvořák’s Silent Woods and Rondo in G minor for cello and orchestra.

The tour brings the orchestra and its soloists to some of the most evocative venues in the region, such as the Münster of Bad Doberan and the Stiftskirche of Bützow, culminating in the final concert at the Katharinensaal of hmt Rostock, where the spotlight turns to the young musicians of the masterclasses.
