January 30th | Martínez Alpuente – “Valse triste” with OSUAEH
Conductor Vicente Martínez Alpuente conducts the Orquesta Sinfónica Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo in “Valse Triste”, a programme built around the expressive and emotional world of the waltz in minor keys.
Closely connected to an ongoing recording project, the concert brings to the stage a repertoire that explores nostalgia, lyricism and introspection, moving between late Romanticism and early 20th-century orchestral colour. The programme combines iconic waltzes with lesser-known works, shaping a coherent musical journey in which the waltz becomes a vehicle for melancholy, elegance and dramatic intensity.
