Maya Oganyan

June 1st – 2nd | Maya Oganyan & Anush Topchyan at Trame Sonore in Mantua

Trame Sonore – Mantova Chamber Music Festival is one of Italy’s most unique and vibrant classical music events. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Palazzo Ducale, Teatro Bibiena, and other historical venues across Mantua, the festival offers an immersive and intimate experience where music, architecture, and cultural heritage converge. Among the featured artists of this edition there are our pianist Maya Oganyan and our violinista Anush Topchyan.

On Sunday June 1st, Maya and Anush join clarinetist Tommaso Lonquich and cellist Ettore Pagano for a performance dedicated to Armenian composers Harutyunyan and Tigran Mansurian. This evocative programme blends traditional Armenian musical influences with modern chamber textures, celebrating cultural identity through sound.

The following evening, Monday June 2nd, Maya Oganyan performs alongside violinist Anush Topchyan and cellist Ettore Pagano again in a programme that contrasts two powerful Slavic voices: Sergei Rachmaninoff and Arno Babajanian. The concert will highlight the expressive depth and lyricism of both composers, offering audiences a compelling journey through Eastern European music.
