Raffaella Tramontano has been a professional journalist since 1987 and a dance critic since 1990. In 1993, she transitioned to a freelance career, focusing on communication and promotion, collaborating with renowned figures such as Roberto De Simone, Francesco Nicolosi, Uto Ughi, the Mozart Italy Association, Beppe Menegatti, Carla Fracci, Vittoria Ottolenghi, and Vittoria Cappelli Ismael Ivo.
From 1999 to 2008, Raffaella was the Head of the Press Office at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples. She continued in this role for the Napoli Teatro Festivalfrom 2008 to 2017. Her expertise extended to the National Academy of Dance, the Naples Theater-National Theater, the Teatro Stabile di Catania, and currently, she is a consultant for the Teatro Argentina in Rome.
Since 2015, Raffaella has been the editor-in-chief of Campadidanza Dance Magazine. In 2016, she began organizing the Premio Le Maschere del Teatro Italiano, broadcast annually on Raiuno. She has published two books: “30 anni e + in Movimento” dedicated to the Movimento Danza Company, and “Si cambia danza – L’impatto del Covid 19 sul sistema danza in Italia” created in collaboration with the Political Science Department of the University Federico II of Naples, which is used as a text in several Italian universities.
