October 11th | Raphaela Gromes – “Fortissima – a femmage to the heroines of music”, release concert at Royal Albert Hall
Cellist Raphaela Gromes and pianist Julian Riem will perform at the Royal Albert Hall for the launch of “Fortissima”, a powerful new album celebrating the brilliance and legacy of women composers across centuries.
Organised by the foundation Donne – Women in Music, the concert is a tribute to the women who shaped music history, from forgotten Baroque pioneers to trailblazing modern voices. The programme brings to life compositions that have long remained unpublished, hidden in archives, or silenced by history.
With Fortissima, Raphaela Gromes furthers her mission of expanding the classical repertoire to include overlooked masterpieces by female composers.
