Violinist Simon Zhu joins Only Stage management’s roster
Simon Zhu is a rising violinist with a versatile repertoire and a growing international profile. In 2023, he won First Prize at the International Violin Competition “Premio Paganini” in Genoa, together with the special prize for the best performance of a Paganini concerto. He has performed with renowned orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice, China Philharmonic Orchestra and Orchestre Philharmonique de Marseille, collaborating with conductors such as Sir Antonio Pappano, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Lü Jia and Stanislav Kochanovsky. In 2024, he performed in London with the London Symphony Orchestra and Sir Antonio Pappano on Paganini’s “Il Cannone”, in a concert attended by His Majesty King Charles III.
