The Sichuan Philharmonic Orchestra presents an all-Brahms programme at the Chengdu Icon Tianfu Concert Hall, featuring our cellist Yibai Chen and violinist Ruifeng Lin as soloists.

The evening centres on Johannes Brahms’ Concerto for Violin and Cello in A minor, Op. 102, a masterpiece of the double concerto repertoire. 

The programme continues with Brahms’ Symphony No. 3, a work of noble character and rich orchestral colour. Balancing passion and restraint, the symphony unfolds with sweeping melodic lines and structural clarity, culminating in a quietly radiant conclusion.
