Zdenka Bodor has many years of organizational experience in the field of culture, especially as the director of the International Festival "Music is" (until 2022 American Spring), which she has managed since 2015. Bodor's festival dramaturgy seeks to reflect contemporary musical developments, particularly in the fields of contemporary classical, experimental and alternative music and modern jazz.
Since 2019, he has been collaborating with Jan Bartoš on the projects of the Prague Music Performance International Festivaland Institute, an innovative festival and institution that organizes concerts across musical genres, masterclasses, lectures and residencies. She is also the coordinator of the Year of Czech Music 2024 and Smetana200.
She graduated from the Prague Conservatory in opera singing under Prof. Brigita Šulcová, in cultural studies at the Faculty of Philosophy of Charles University and in ethology at the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University.
