Our Carlos Natale will perform the role of Pong in Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot at Opéra Grand Avignon. Presented in three acts and sung in Italian with French surtitles, the production is conducted by Federico Santi, with Alan Woodbridge as chorus master. The staging and scenography are by Paco Azorin, with costumes by Ulises Mérida, choreography by Carlos Martos, and lighting and video by Pedro Chamizo.

The cast includes Catherine Hunold as Turandot, Claire Antoine as Liù, Mickael Spadaccini as Calaf, Luciano Batinic as Timur, Matteo Loi as Ping, Sébastien Droy as Pang, and our Carlos Natale as Pong, together with the Chorus and Maîtrise of Opéra Grand Avignon and the Orchestre national Avignon-Provence.

The production is a co-production between Associazione Arena Sferisterio, Macerata Opera Festival and Opéra Grand Avignon.
