Eckehard Stier – New album “Uematsu: Merregnon: Heart of Ice” celebrates a successful launch
The new album “Uematsu: Merregnon: Heart of Ice” has received a very successful launch. Released by Decca Music Group, the album features the London Symphony Orchestra under the baton of our Eckehard Stier, with narration by Academy Award-winning actress Alicia Vikander.
Following its release, the album was named “Album of the Week” by Classic FM, marking an important recognition for this new orchestral project and for Eckehard Stier’s work with the London Symphony Orchestra.
The recording presents Nobuo Uematsu’s Merregnon: Heart of Ice, a symphonic fairytale and the composer’s first original large-scale work written specifically for the concert hall.
