October 29th | Gabriel Prokofiev – “Dark Lights” at the NFM in Wrocław with The Lyatoshynsky Trio
Gabriel Prokofiev joins the Lyatoshynsky Trio at the Narodowe Forum Muzyki (NFM) in Wrocław for “Dark Lights”, a chamber concert bringing together acoustic performance and electronics.
The programme places Prokofiev’s “Dark Lights” alongside works by Andrzej Panufnik and Zoltan Almashi, creating a dialogue between different generations and musical languages. Performed with Prokofiev on electronics, “Dark Lights” combines the sound of the piano trio with contemporary electronic dance music, bringing together elements of techno, funk, polka and other stylistic references.
The concert is performed by Mykhaylo Zakharov, violin, Susanne Szambelan, cello, and Artem Yasynskyy, piano, with Gabriel Prokofiev on electronics.
Program: - A. Panufnik, Piano Trio, Op. 1 - Z. Almashi, Somewhere There Is Light - G. Prokofiev, Dark Lights
