Inna Faliks will perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Columbia Orchestra, conducted by Richard Scerbo, in Washington DC.

The concert, titled “Soundscapes of Contras”, presents a programme built around tension, transformation and contrasting expressive worlds. The evening will open with Gabriela Ortiz’s Kauyumari, followed by Beethoven’s dramatic Piano Concerto No. 3, with Inna Faliks as soloist.

The programme will conclude with Carl Nielsen’s Symphony No. 2, a work inspired by the four temperaments of human personality.
