Our conductor Lü Jia will lead the China NCPA Orchestra at the Beijing Performing Arts Centre in a special concert featuring internationally acclaimed cellist Gautier Capuçon and violinist Sarah Jégou-Sageman.

The evening will explore the poetic dialogue between violin and cello through two remarkable double concertos inspired by the relationship between the poet and the muse. The program brings together Camille Saint-Saëns’ La Muse et le Poète and Richard Dubugnon’s Le Poème du Silence, two works that highlight the expressive conversation between the two solo instruments.
