May 02nd – 04th | Lü Jia – Last performances of A. Catalani “La Wally” in Cagliari
Under the baton of Lü Jia, Teatro Lirico di Cagliari stages the final performances of La Wally, Alfredo Catalani’s powerful four-act opera with libretto by Luigi Illica. Set against a dramatic Alpine backdrop, the production by Massimo Gasparon brings to life the emotionally charged score with his vision for set design, costumes, and lighting.
The cast features Oksana Dyka and Rachele Stanisci alternating as Wally, Marcelo Álvarez and Konstantin Kipiani as Hagenbach, and Devid Cecconi and Enrico Di Geronimo as Gellner, alongside Andrea Tabili, David Cervera, Sonia Fortunato, and Elena Schirru.
