October 30th – 31st | Marcus Bosch conducts Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana in Palermo with Joseph Moog at the piano
Marcus Bosch conducts a symphonic programme at the Politeama Garibaldi in Palermo, featuring pianist Joseph Moog.
The concert, titled “Parabola Romantica”, opens with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 in G major, Op. 58, a work distinguished by its lyrical character and innovative dialogue between soloist and orchestra.
The second half is dedicated to Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4 in E-flat major, “Romantic”, one of the composer’s best-known symphonic works. With its evocative horn calls, expansive architecture and references to nature, hunting and medieval imagery, the symphony stands as a central example of Bruckner’s orchestral language.
