Marcus Bosch

March 27th | Marcus Bosch – “neoKLASSIK” concert with HSO München

The HSO München presents “neoKLASSIK”, a symphonic programme conducted by our Marcus Bosch, bringing together Classical brilliance and French lyricism.

The evening opens with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Overture to Le nozze di Figaro, a sparkling and energetic introduction that captures the opera’s wit, elegance and dramatic vitality.

The programme continues with a selection from Joseph Canteloube’s Chants d’Auvergne, featuring soprano Maria Târşia and mezzosoprano Maria von Hoof. These evocative arrangements of traditional folk songs blend orchestral colour with vocal warmth, creating atmospheric landscapes rooted in French regional tradition.

The concert concludes with Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 in C major, D 944 (the “Great” C major), a monumental work of expansive lyricism and structural mastery.
