Marcus Bosch received high praise in a review by Peter Krause for Concerti.de following Verdi’s Macbeth at the Opernfestspiele Heidenheim.
For this production, Bosch continued his chronological exploration of Verdi’s early operas, conducting the rarely performed original Florence version of Macbeth from 1847 with Cappella Aquileia.
The review particularly highlights the precision, colour and energy of Bosch’s interpretation, as well as his attention to the finer details of Verdi’s score.
