Mezzosoprano Cátia Moreso joins Only Stage roster!
Cátia Moreso studied at the Conservatório Nacional de Lisboa and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, earning both her Singing degree and Opera Master with distinction.
Her operatic repertoire spans major dramatic and lyric mezzo-soprano roles, including Amneris, Azucena, Ulrica, Preziosilla, Dorabella, Carmen and Suzuki, across leading theatres and festivals.
She has also appeared in productions in Valladolid, Wexford, Tanglewood and Opera Holland Park, performing repertoire from baroque to contemporary opera.
Her concert work includes major choral-symphonic pieces by Bach, Mahler, Tippett, Berlioz, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Rossini and Verdi.
A committed interpreter of contemporary music, she has performed Berio, Eötvös, Ligeti and premiered new works; her discography includes releases on the Naxos label.
