June 25th – 26th | Oleg Caetani conducts La Toscanini at Festival Toscanini in Parma and Busseto
Oleg Caetani returns to conduct the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini for “Eroi, atmosfere, illuminazioni”, a programme entirely dedicated to Ludwig van Beethoven.
The concert explores the idea of heroism and dramatic tension in Beethoven’s music, from the expressive force of the Coriolan Overture to the luminous lyricism of the two Romances for violin and orchestra.
The soloist will be Mihaela Costea, concertmaster of the Filarmonica A. Toscanini, performing the two Romances with the orchestra.
The programme will conclude with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4 in B-flat major, a work that combines energy, elegance and inner intensity.
