Shanul Sharma joins the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House for Mendelssohn’s monumental oratorio “Elijah”, conducted by Simone Young.

Inspired in part by the grand oratorio tradition of Handel, Elijah combines dramatic orchestral writing, large-scale choral forces and a sequence of intensely expressive solo roles. Sharma appears as tenor alongside Sir Bryn Terfel in the title role, sopranos Samantha Clarke and Eleanor Lyons, and mezzo-soprano Noa Beinart.
