Shanul Sharma will appear as Don Ottavio in Opera Australia’s national tour of Mozart’s Don Giovanni.

The production will travel across South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania, bringing one of Mozart’s most iconic operas to audiences in theatres and performing arts centres throughout the country.

Directed by Michael Gow and conducted by Simon Bruckard, the production follows the final day in the life of Don Giovanni, Mozart’s seductive and destructive anti-hero, whose fate is already sealed from the opera’s opening bars.

Shanul Sharma shares the role of Don Ottavio with Tomas Dalton, in a cast including Christian Haotian Qi and Andrew Williams as Don Giovanni, Kiran Rajasingam and Stephen Marsh as Leporello, Celeste Lazarenko and Jessica Blunt as Donna Anna, Chelsea Burns and Jennifer Bonner as Donna Elvira, and Cathy-Di Zhang and Jane Magão as Zerlina.
