Soprano Antonina Vesenina joins Only Stage roster!
Antonina Vesenina is a Russian soprano born in Voronezh into a family of musicians. She graduated from the Voronezh State Academy of Arts and continued her vocal training with leading teachers and in masterclasses with renowned artists.
Prizewinner of major international competitions, including the Tchaikovsky Competition, she made her early debuts in Russia before establishing a strong international career.
Closely associated with the Mariinsky Theatre, where she has performed more than 30 leading and title roles, she is especially acclaimed for her coloratura repertoire and collaborations with conductors such as, Dmitry Bertman, Yevgeny Pisarev, Valery Gergiev, Misha Shekhtman, Stanislav Kochanovsky, Marco Boemi among others.
Alongside opera, she has recently expanded her artistic focus to Baroque music, presenting successful concert projects at the Mariinsky Concert Hall.
