Soprano Sofía Mara joins Only Stage Arts Management roster!
Uruguayan soprano Sofía Mara studied in Montevideo, Madrid and Karlsruhe, graduating under the guidance of Julia Varady and Mitsuko Shirai. She has performed in major opera houses and festivals across Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, with roles spanning from Cleopatra to Pamina and Marguerite. A passionate recitalist, she appeared in prestigious concert series and festivals, including Bayreuth and Carnegie Hall’s SongStudio hosted by Renée Fleming. She is also dedicated to vocal pedagogy, having taught at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe and institutions in Uruguay.
