Soprano Valeria La Grotta joins Only Stage management’s roster. Welcome on board!
Valeria La Grotta is an Italian soprano specialising in Renaissance and Baroque repertoire. Trained at the conservatoires of Bari, Cesena and Naples, she has worked with leading conductors and ensembles including Ottavio Dantone, Accademia Bizantina, Federico Maria Sardelli and Le Banquet Céleste.
She has performed at major venues and festivals such as Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Teatro La Fenice, Wigmore Hall, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, George Enescu Festival and Ravello Festival. Her discography focuses mainly on Baroque repertoire, and she also works in musicological research and critical editions.
She currently teaches Baroque Singing at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole.
