Zuzanna Klemanska

March 14th – 20th | Zuzanna Klemańska in G. Verdi’s Nabucco at Opera Krakowska

Giuseppe Verdi’s Nabucco returns to the stage at Opera Krakowska in a powerful production featuring an outstanding international cast.

Among the performers, our mezzosoprano Zuzanna Klemańska appears as Fenena, daughter of Nabucco, embodies compassion and spiritual strength, offering a human counterbalance to the opera’s dramatic conflicts (March 14, 17 and 20).

The title role is performed by Andrzej Dobber (March 14, 17, 20) and Mikołaj Zalasiński (March 13, 15, 19, 21), while the demanding role of Abigaille is shared by Oksana Nosatova, Karina Skrzeszewska and Jolanta Wagner across the different performances. The cast also includes Tomasz Kuk and Giorgi Sturua as Ismaele, Wołodymyr Pańkiw and Grzegorz Szostak as Zaccaria.

A cornerstone of the Italian operatic repertoire, Nabucco combines dramatic intensity with some of Verdi’s most iconic choral writing, including the celebrated “Va, pensiero.”
