American soprano Karen Slack joins Only Stage Arts Management roster!
Praised for her expressive voice and impact on classical music, soprano Karen Slack won the 2025 GRAMMY® Award for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album with Beyond the Years. In 2024–2025, she launched African Queens, a major nationwide recital tour premiering works by leading composers at festivals like Ravinia, Aspen, and Tanglewood. Dedicated to championing Black artists and living composers, Slack has performed with top opera houses and orchestras, including the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, and the New York Philharmonic.
A recipient of the 2022 Sphinx Medal of Excellence and 2025 Power Artist Grant, she also holds advisory and faculty roles at Portland Opera, Astral Artists, and the Banff Centre. A Philadelphia native, she is a Curtis Institute of Music graduate.
